What are Far-Infrared waves?
Infrared light lies between the visible and microwave portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. It has a range of wavelengths, just like visible light has wavelengths that range from red light to violet. Far infrared is the light closest to the microwave region of the electromagnetic spectrum, and are thermal. In other words, we experience this type of infrared radiation every day in the form of heat!
The heat that we feel from sunlight, a fire, a radiator or a warm sidewalk is infrared. The sun produces most of its energy output in the infrared segment of the spectrum. When the sun goes behind a cloud, it’s the infrared rays that are being blocked and hence you feel a chill, when the temperature has no time to drop.
What can Far-Infrared ray do to my body?
Far infrared wavelengths have the ability to penetrate deep into our bodies. Studies have shown that far infrared can actually penetrate up to 5-8 cm (2-3 inches) deep, heating the core of our bodies and permeate our muscle tissues, fat cells and organs. Far Infrared light and its healing properties are only just beginning to emerge, and the therapeutic benefits are being seen in some leading edge technologies, including our far-infrared pendant.
FIR waves are able to hatch the eggs of insects, sea turtles, chickens and other animals, causing them to develop blood vessels, nerves, skeleton, skin and feathers. In the same way, when our bodies absorb the FIR rays, it is able to activate, revitalize, reactivate, develop and strengthen the various organs in our bodies. This has huge potential for healing and redevelopment of compromised cells.
Far infrared waves can also strengthen the micro-circulatory systems, which, when compromised, causes disease and ailments to occur. It regulates the blood flow, unblocks blood clots and at the same time reactivates the vital energy in the body.
What is the overall effect of FAR-Infrared on my health and well being?
Far infrared ray has endless possibilities for health, healing the well being, that are only just being discovered and therapeutically used. Many people report an increase in vitality, agile mind and more energy when they experience FAR.
Long-term health benefits include enhanced immunity, anti-aging, and improving health, wellness and longevity.
How does Far-Infrared help my metabolism?
We all have a metabolic rate which is the process of absorbing nutrients from our food, digesting them, and removing the waste matter. The metabolic rate of each individual is an indicator of his/her health. A good and strong metabolic rate indicates a healthy life.
FIR is able to improve blood flow and increase the metabolic rate of the body. As your circulatory systems improve, so does your metabolism, enabling waste to be eliminated efficiently, and reduce the time natural toxins are within your body.
An increase in metabolic rate means an improvement of energy levels, ridding you of the feeling of sluggishness, lethargy and bloating. Long term metabolic disorders will lead to chronic disease, e.g. diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, arthritis etc Through far infrared ray warming and resonance effect, the cell tissue strengthens, regulates body fluid functionality, strengthens metabolism and stabilizes the exchange of material.
FIR promotes vitality and wellness, enhancing cell regeneration and improves our capability for recovery.
How can Far Infrared Improve my Immunity?
Our body’s immune system is greatly enhanced to help combat viruses and disease with far-infrared rays, which boost the micro-circulatory system and metabolism of the body. It helps to slow down the ageing process, increase resistance against diseases and increases longevity.
Clinical observation showed that far infrared rays enhance the organism’s macrophage function, strengthen human body’s immunity. The heat energy of far infrared ray may penetrate deep into hypodermic layer, causes the subcutaneous tissue temperature rise, maintaining the body temperature at the optimal condition (healthiest body temperature for adult is 36.5 – 37°C).
In other words, the far infrared ray provides an unfavorable condition for pathogen growth and cell pathological changes (body temperatures of 35°C is a low temperature condition at which cancer cell multiply the best)!
How can Far-Infrared increase my cell activation?
Cells are activated when your body receives the far infrared ray. Having higher vibration state allows biological molecules efficiently regulate your metabolism and immunity functions of organisms. When 60 trillion cells of our whole body are activated, all organs and tissues are able to restore their optimal functionality.
How can Far-Infrared increase my circulation?
Your body absorbs Far infrared rays through the skin, causing your body surface temperature to rise. Through the thalamus reflection, it causes relaxation of blood vessels, and speeds up blood circulation, including the micro circulation system. Far infrared ray also acts on water, thus promoting the lymph and the tissue fluid circulation, as well as increasing tissue and cell’s oxygen content.
How can Far-Infrared help recovery from illness?
One of the reasons FIR has beneficial results in a variety of illnesses is the ability of FIR waves to remove toxins, which are often at the core of many health problems.
The warming effect is helpful in eliminating such things as the waste products generated by aging, heavy metals and toxic substances, which are then secreted by the sweat and dermis-layer fat glands.
Toxic gases are encapsulated by clusters of water. Where these toxins are accumulated, blood circulation is blocked and cellular energy is impaired. When a 10 micron FIR wave is applied to these large water molecules, the water begins to vibrate, which reduces the ion bonds of the atoms that are holding together the molecules of water. As the breakdown of the water molecules occurs, encapsulated gases and other toxic materials are released.
How can Far-Infrared help with inflammation and swelling?
The far infrared ray warming effect may increase the skin hypodermic temperature by 1-2°C. This simultaneously expands the capillaries, speeds up the blood flow, and helps with relaxation of nerve endings (do you feel more comfortable on a warm sunny day?)
When your body’s metabolism is activated, and thus increasing cell blood & oxygen supply to your body, this brings anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling and analgesic effects to the body.
What research has been done by scientists on far-infrared?
Dr. TsuTsair Oliver Chi summarized the effect of infrared rays on the body:
“These rays are selectively absorbed by tissues needing a boost in their output.
The internal production of infrared energy that normally occurs within our tissues is associated with a variety of healing responses and may require a boost to a maximal level to ensure the fullest healing response possible in a tissue which is being repaired. After boosting a tissue’s level to its maximum, the remaining rays pass onward harmlessly.”
